Finally! I’ve uploaded Flames of Ambition chapter 3, entitled “Stain.” (Link here) I had written the chapter months ago but realized that it needed some serious revision so I took to re-writting the chapter and editing the previous chapters to make everything fit together. The previous chapters’ edits are miniscule so the difference will barely be noticed save for some name changes (Mackie changed to Matthews and Costra changed to Garcia).
Like before I used music as inspiration and again, the inspiration comes from a Korean band, Urban Zakapa and their song “When Winter Comes.” I hope that everyone enjoys the third chapter and please offer any feedback possible or comments.
I’ve haven’t been here in an obscenely long time; it’s a shame to tell you the truth. I’ve been slowly writing for Flames of Ambition when my free time has warranted me to do so. I haven’t given up on it! In fact, to show that I haven’t given up on FOA yet, here’s a short excerpt from the third chapter:
Light rain dripped from the sky ceremoniously as it preceded a heavier rain that began earlier that morning. Light dew coated the leaves of tries, flower petals, and hung on the heavy coats of the funeral attendants as the previous rain left a light fog over the graveyard. The morning was drearier than usual for the usually bustling city, but of course, it almost always seems to rain on the day of a funeral. Were the heavens mourning just like everyone else?
Jared was as numb as when he first got the news of his brother’s death but now, having the responsibility of another life thrust upon him so suddenly made him want to curl up in the fetal position. On one hand, he felt like his life had been completely changed—almost ruined—because he had so many things he wanted to do; however, on the other hand…as much as he didn’t want to admit it, Jared was scared—no, terrified. What if he couldn’t live up to be the father that his brother was? Even more incredulously, how could the heir of a global cooperation be a single father? He was dating Daniella but she was no mother-material. That night at the hospital, his niece had said nothing at all. Instead she looked up at him with the saddest blue eyes he had ever seen—the same blue eyes that he always saw first thing in the morning when he and his brother were children. Was this fate telling him to cherish others? Jared had so many questions but there was no one to answer him.
Good sneak peak, right?! Well, after I finish up the chapter (I’m trying to make it longer than the others) and its pictures then I will promptly upload chapter 3 with the utmost pride. 🙂
Happy simming and reading,
I haven’t posted any stories for a few months because I’ve been very busy (like always around this time). I’m hoping I can get some writing done in December but until then there most likely won’t be anything posted until then. Just checking in to say that this site isn’t dead.
FOA Chapter 2: Cold has been posted over a week ago but a bug called “busy” has taken over my life right now. Hopefully I can crank out the next chapter faster than I cranked out this one.
Finally! I’ve finally finished taking the pictures for the second chapter of FOA and if I find time tomorrow, the chapter will be posted then.
The second chapter of Flames of Ambition is still a work in progress; as soon as I get the pictures done I’ll post the complete story. Until then, here is a little taste of what’s to come:
He sat there, wringing his hands constantly, waiting for someone to tell him anything. Everything was a blur. Everything felt so surreal—the ambulance pulling up as he did, both his brother and wife on stretchers covered in blood. His heart beat rhythmically with his breathing; his breath slipped out of his mouth in raged puffs. His normally crystalline green eyes looked glassy as tears collected on his eyelid while his eyelashes glistened from those tears that had already escaped. As he dipped his head in his hands a piece of his jet-black hair broke free from the carefully combed mop on his head and caressed his right hand.
I think I’ve finally felt like writing something after a very long time. So much to the point that I have written a short chapter for Flames of Ambition. As for Airborne, either I’m continuing that or starting a story completely different from that but that has its origin from Airborne.
By the way, my inspiration was all thanks to the songs The Day Before and Slip Away, both by Nell (a Korean indie-rock/alternative rock band), so it’s safe to say that these chapters might seem depressing or really sad. I’m not quite sure though. 🙂
Anyway, when I get access to Sims again, I’ll put all my hard work and vacation time into creating the pictures to accompany the chapters.

You know it’s bad when you’ve forgotten your password to your own blog.
I haven’t given up on writing my stories or given up on tending to Ice Cream on my Fries. It’s just that I’ve been really busy and will continue to be busy for the next two to three months. Within that time my goal is to have written for both Airborne and Flames of Ambition but there’s no promises there.
In the mean time, I’ll have to keep you in suspense. 🙂
This is the first anniversary of ice cream on my fries; it’s been approximately one year since I started this place (and it’s still desolate :-))! I’ve revamped a little of the website and deleted some “junk”;
there will be a new story addition probably within the week in celebration of this anniversary, I finally uploaded the first chapter of Flames of Ambition, a new addition to the story lineup.
1st chapter: Stop
It was all the same every day. As soon as he shut the door and sat in his chair at the head of the table, his day began. Blah, blah, blah. That’s all he ever heard. He just wanted to drown everyone out, the voice of the presenter, the prying eyes of his investors. Jared placed his hand on his forehead and began to gently massage the knot that had formed squarely between his eyes.
Since this place is somewhat scarce, here are some stories that I have written (but never finished):
They can be viewed here.
EDIT: It seems the website will be shut down in January of 2013,
so I will be trying to recover all of my old stories and posting them here instead. If I am not able to get the pictures to the stories, I will be posting one old story without pictures most likely so I have recovered two of the stories I that had written and will post them when I have the time. I’m leaving the link to the old stories up until the site shuts down.

Welcome to ice cream on my fries (despite somewhat popular disbelief, ice cream and fries really do taste good together). I will be using this ‘desk-space’ to post my stories; I am a Sims 2 story writer and all of the writing and stories will be Sims related (visually).
